In a historic cultural milestone, America witnessed its first-ever Bhajan Clubbing Night in the state of New Jersey, as over 400 bhajan lovers gathered at the prestigious Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords. The unique spiritual-musical celebration coincided with Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (Non-Resident Indians Day) and marked a powerful blend of devotion, community, and contemporary cultural expression.

The landmark event was organized by Jyotsna Sharma and Tarun Sharma, Co-Founders of Cultivate Talents Unlimited LLC, an NJ-based Women Minority Business Enterprise, in association with World Peace and Health Foundation, a non-profit led by Founder Trustees Neeraj Bhagat and Pramod Bhagat.

The innovative Bhajan Clubbing concept was curated by Jyotsna Sharma, an IT professional, popular freelance TV producer, anchor, journalist, and South Asian media correspondent in the USA. Inspired by the growing Gen-Z bhajan clubbing movement in Indian metro cities, Sharma conducted a pre-event social media survey which revealed enthusiastic interest among Indian Americans aged 15 to 65, validating the concept’s broad appeal.

The three-hour-long spiritual and soulful musical extravaganza enthralled an audience ranging from 15 to 75 years of age. The venue remained packed till the very end as attendees danced, chanted, sang along, and immersed themselves in devotion.

Cultivate Talents’ Star Performers Shine on Stage

The evening featured 15 star bhajan singers and musicians from Cultivate Talents Unlimited, all local talent selected through a rigorous Tri-State talent hunt.

  • Deepak Puri and Payel Das served as Music Directors and Mentors, creating musical magic on the keyboard and harmonium.

  • Vandana Puri led the entire chorus team and stage direction, ensuring seamless coordination and high-energy performances.

  • Lead singers Aparna Oak and Nidhi Mishra anchored the production and guided their respective singing teams with finesse.

  • The talented vocal ensemble also included Rajeev Sharma, Anchal Sinha, Vibhu Srivastava, Vaneeta Tikkoo, Vibha Alaigh, Dimple Gupta, Srini, and Aarti Gupta.

The musical depth of the evening was elevated by accomplished musicians Anil Sachdeva, Hemant Sharma, Monty Lalani, and Rishu, who created a divine soundscape using multiple musical instruments.
Adding a heartwarming highlight to the event, Aurelia Vibhaw Bhardwaj, the youngest performer of the night, captivated the audience with her manjheera performance.

A special All-American devotional team, led by Kevin Kalpa Virksha and Pandit Krishna Das Sharma of New Jersey, further enriched the evening with powerful renditions of the Hanuman Chalisa and devotional chants glorifying Lord Shiva and Radha-Krishna.
