The United States dominates most of this gulf. This gulf is important for economic purposes. It includes fishing, power generation, and trade. Therefore, Trump said that this gulf should be known as the Gulf of America. Although Trump has changed the name of this gulf, the world is not bound by this new name. Trump’s order is being considered as part of the action against Mexico.
