PM Modi Wears Multicoloured Turban: Prime Minister
Narendra Modi on Sunday continued the tradition of wearing attractive and
colourful turbans or turbans on national occasions like Republic Day and
Independence Day. He wore a bright red and yellow turban for the 76th Republic
Day celebrations. Chosen.
The turban looked multicoloured.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore a white kurta and
pyjama for today's special event . He wore a brown jacket over it. Prime
Minister Narendra Modi today went to the National War Memorial to pay tribute
to those who sacrificed their lives for the country.
After paying tribute, he
left for the annual Republic Day parade on duty. Prime Minister Modi on Sunday
greeted the nation on the occasion of Republic Day.
“Today we celebrate the 75th anniversary of our glorious
Republic. On this occasion, we pay tribute to all those great personalities who
shaped our Constitution and based our development journey on democracy, dignity
and unity.
We hope that this national celebration will preserve the values of our Constitution and give further
strength to our efforts to build a strong and prosperous India,” the Prime
Minister posted on X.
Since assuming office in 2014, the Prime Minister has
worn colourful turbans in his Independence Day and Republic Day appearances.
This has been his usual feature. For the 2024 Republic Day programme, the Prime
Minister wore a 'bandhani' turban that showcased India's diversity.
