PM Modi Announces Fast-Track Courts to Crack Down on Paper Leak Cases

 

New Delhi - Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that the Centre will establish fast-track courts to ensure swift trials and stringent punishment for those involved in examination paper leaks, calling the protection of students’ future a national priority. In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said the government has directed all concerned authorities to take immediate steps to implement the decision.

 

“Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth. We have decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks. Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared,” Modi said. The announcement comes amid widespread protests in New Delhi over alleged examination paper leaks and irregularities in the education system. Student groups and activists have been demanding stricter action against those responsible and greater accountability from the government.
