HICKSVILLE, NY - The Brahmin Society of New York (BSNY), a non-profit organization proudly serving the South Asian community since 1987, hosted its spectacular 31st Annual Talent Show and Art Exhibition at Levittown Hall in Hicksville, New York.
The auditorium was filled with enthusiasm and cultural spirit as families, trustees, executive committee members, sponsors, and community attendees gathered for an evening dedicated to celebrating artistic talent and cultural heritage.
 
Grand Opening Ceremony
The program commenced with the traditional Diya Ceremony, symbolizing unity, positivity, and community harmony. The ceremony was attended by executive committee members, trustees, sponsors, and distinguished guests.
The well-attended event featured performances by participants across all age groups, including toddlers, youth, adults, and senior members of the community.
Highlights of the Evening
Fashion Show Extravaganza
More than 40 children and toddlers participated in a colorful fashion show that received enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.
Youth Leadership & Anchoring
Youth members collaborated with adult committee members in hosting the event, demonstrating confidence, teamwork, and leadership.
Dance Performances
The audience was mesmerized by vibrant Bollywood dances, graceful semi-classical performances, and a captivating Bharatanatyam presentation.
Musical Performances
Instrumental performances accompanied by renditions of ghazals and popular Bollywood Hindi songs captivated the audience throughout the evening.
Science & Art Exhibition
The Science and Art Exhibition featured creative paintings and artwork presented by children, reflecting imagination, innovation, and artistic talent.
“This year’s event was more than just a talent show; it was a true celebration that brought people together to support and applaud local creativity,” said Kalpita Parikh, President of BSNY.

The evening concluded with:

The event reflected the organization’s continued commitment to promoting cultural values, creativity, unity, and community engagement.
“Talent shows are wonderful ways to encourage individuals to step outside their comfort zones and showcase their creative abilities,” said Kalpita Parikh, President of BSNY.
Trustee Ruta Dave who led the event said that the overwhelming success of the 31st Annual Talent Show has further raised expectations for next year’s event.
