The Maharashtra Cyber Department
has written a letter to YouTube to remove all 18 episodes of the controversial
show 'India's Got Talent'. The Cyber Department has also clarified that if
the contestants participating in it have made obscene comments, they will also
be accused. In this regard, summons have been issued to Tanmay Bhat, Rakhi
Sawant, Urfi Javed, Siddharth Chaturvedi and Deepak Kalal and other
participants.
The Maharashtra Cyber Department
has registered a case against Raina, Ranveer and 30 to 40 people under the
Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code.
All those who
participated in episodes 1 to 6 of 'India's Got Talent' in the presence of
Ranveer are being summoned as accused in this. The Cyber Department said
that all of them will be called for questioning soon (on page 8) (from page 1).
The Assam Police has registered the first case in this case. On Wednesday, the
Assam Police reached Mumbai to investigate the same case. They discussed the
investigation with the Mumbai Police. It is understood that they have also
started taking statements from some people. Meanwhile, the police officials
clarified that the statement of the manager of Allahabadi along with Apurva
Makhija has also been recorded.
A total of 18 episodes of India's
Got Talent were released on YouTube. The cyber department said that a letter
has been sent to YouTube to remove all these episodes. The cyber department
also said that the audience will be made witnesses in this. Famous people from
different fields are invited as judges in this show of Samay Raina. In one
episode, YouTubers Ranveer Allahabadia and Apoorva Makhija were invited. At
that time, Ranveer had asked a contestant obscene questions about his parents
and made objectionable statements. A preliminary investigation is underway by
the Khar police in this case.
